Sometime in 2012 ago brewer Aaron Risser was passing around free bottles of a beer that combined a chocolate stout with, well, a ghost pepper.  And it was great.  Really hot, but really great.  It sort of did a coffee thing, and a chocolate thing, and then a serious-burn-thing.  Some people loved it; some people looked really sad and said, “Why would anyone drink something like this?” The three of us drank a bunch of it and said: “We should make more of this.  And we should try to sell it.”
And just like that, Fetish Brewing Company – and our notorious “Ghost Pepper Fetish” beer — was born.

Owner Kyle Funk and his brother-in-law Jon Norman (Norm) are partners in Funk Brewing Co. which began brewing in 2014. Whether it’s Nirvana, Apple, or Funk, all great things start in a garage.  Both Norm and Kyle started brewing in their garages with a turkey fryer and Igloo cooler.  Later, Kyle’s and his mechanical engineering background built a magnificent brew house from scratch in his garage.

With Kyle’s brewing ability and Norm’s business background it made sense to start a brewery.  The duo went to the Colorado Boy Brewing Company brewery school in Ridgway CO.  After being laughed out of a few banks they were finally given a loan and the keys to 19 South 6th Street in Emmaus.
Since 2014, Funk has grown to 2 taprooms (Emmaus and Elizabethtown) and a distribution footprint of 7 states in the Mid Atlantic.

Highway Manor Brewing’s specialty is their proprietary house yeast that over the last 10 years inoculated from an 1840 mansion built on a canal turned highway, in Liverpool Pennsylvania, is what makes their rare barrel aged (200 day minimum red wine oak) sours so unique. Their highly creative Brewer/Owner, Johnnie Compton III, takes his Belgian farmhouse style brewing very seriously, and has been harvesting colonies of wild bugs that predate the civil war for over a decade. The Pennsylvania terrier is evident in each of their carefully cultivated wild beers.

Snitz Creek Brewery was founded and built on the belief that we all can share the peace, satisfaction, thrill and contentment of outdoor pursuits like fly fishing, therefore we felt it appropriate to follow the outdoor theme in the naming of our beers, such as Opening Day, Woolly Bugger, Linebreaker and Explorer.

Bringing a brewery to Lebanon was a deliberate and strategic choice. We are passionate about fostering a culture of craft beer and a love of the outdoors to the town we call home. We are proud to be the first brewery in Lebanon County in over 50 years.
We thank you for sharing our vision and for choosing to spend your valuable free time with us. Together, let’s celebrate life’s accomplishments and adventures – all of our best times when it all just feels right – this is your #SnitzCreekMoment!

Founded in Pennsylvania in 1996 by brothers John and Chris Trogner, Tröegs Independent Brewing is driven by a sense of adventure and curiosity. From the beginning, Tröegs has been built by family, friends and kindred spirits who share a love of great beer. “We’re not an English ale brewery,” says co-founder Chris Trogner. “And we’re not a German lager brewery. we take bits and pieces from each one of those traditions and try to come up with what They think is a very creative and great-tasting beer.”

Tröegs is widely known for award-winning beers like Perpetual IPA, Troegenator, Nugget Nectar and Mad Elf, as well as its experimental Scratch Series, wood-aged Splinter Series and Hop Cycle Seasonals. Tröegs started working in earnest with local ingredients back in 2002 with the debut of holiday favorite Mad Elf. Tröegs also sources local produce including pumpkins, cherries, peaches, nectarines and strawberries from the fertile Fruit Belt of Pennsylvania.

Through rotating seasonal menus, Tröegs Scratch Kitchen is a showcase for new tastes and flavors, and its Guided Production Tour was named best brewery tour in America by readers of USA Today. The annual Art of Tröegs contest showcases the brewery’s love of art by challenging fans to create original artwork inspired by its beers.

“They’re drawn to people with a sense of adventure,” says co-founder John Trogner. “And we think they’re drawn to Tröegs.”

Moo-Duck Brewery is a small family owned and operated brewery and pub open since 2014. They handcraft all their beer in small batches on our hand built brewing system. We feature 12 taps of seasonally focused beers with everything from light to dark, malty to hoppy, and session to imperial. All beers are unfiltered.  Moo-Duck got it’s start when Brewer/Owner Mike got a home-brewing kit as a present from his wife, Owner and Food Manager Kristen. Mike was instantly hooked and quickly moved from kits to designing his own recipes. These recipes focused on respecting the traditional brewing styles while also embracing non-traditional brewing ingredients and techniques. Mike fell in love with the creative process of brewing and it’s this love that continues to fuel Moo-Duck beers. One of Mike’s favorite things about home-brewing was sharing his creations with others. This hasn’t changed since Moo-Duck opened, he just has a lot more people to share his beer with!

You are probably wondering how they came up with the name Moo-Duck or what a Moo-Duck is. The long version of this story is that it was the name of Mike’s all-star bird watching team (yes there is such a thing) when he worked at the Pocono Environmental Education Center. The team was entering an event called The World Series of Birding and needed a name. An original team member from Russia suggested Moo-Duck. Being a somewhat nonconforming group of people who were into having fun and not taking the World Series as serious as some of the teams, Moo-Duck fit us. So they went with it and ended up placing in the top ten (out of 35 teams). Ever since that first world series, their group of friends have always called each other Moo-Ducks.
