Subaru Outdoor Experience

Lancaster County Motors Subaru has unveiled a new space at Clipper Magazine Stadium, home of the Lancaster Barnstormers – The Subaru Outdoor Experience.

Located along the first base line with a tiered platform structure, this new space welcomes fans to a new “experience” while attending games.  The Subaru Outdoor Experience focuses on creating a sense of community through spaces which encourage social engagement among fans.

Fans will identify with the Subaru Outdoor Experience which includes games like Life Size Jenga, Shuffleboard, Ping Pong, Giant Checkers, and Bocce Ball – along with an art wall of kayak, bike, and recycling arts parts and information, a dog kissing booth, a barber shop corner, and opportunities to engage with the local businesses that made this unique space possible.

Come enjoy the games while watching the game!

At Lancaster County Motors Subaru, we enjoy the challenge of meeting and exceeding your highest expectations, every time – carrying a full model lineup of Subaru vehicles including the all new BRZ, Crosstrek, Impreza, Forester, Outback, Legacy, and WRX.

In order to represent the lifestyle of a Subaru buyer, the following businesses and organizations have teamed up to create an art wall. To reflect the adventurous, environmental conscious, outdoor and ever-stylish type, each team member provided products, information/education, and interactive activities for a 58 foot long art wall. The wall encloses a double decked area filled with life-size games, high top tables, and boasts a beautiful view of the ballgame.

Powerhouse couple Rebecca and Mark Branle, the owners of Bike Works, are Lancaster County’s experts in all things biking. They offer the highest quality – from Cyclocross bikes, to hybrid, to road. They also offer shop and community rides, educational courses, repairs, and guided tours of the Amish country side. Ride alongside Mark and Rebecca as they spread environmentally conscious transportation while having loads of fun.

With over 50 years of experience in the business, between their advanced technological recycling processes, and their educational programming, Full Circle Recycling has been an integral part of protecting our environment in the Lancaster County Community.

Shanks Mare, Lower Susquehanna River  – A unique outfitters shop offering paddleboard, kayaking, hiking tours, adventure camps, trips, and tons of neat outdoor apparel. The family owned business is located on the Susquehanna River in Wrightsville, PA.

Shanks Mare will be pairing up with the Lower Susquehanna River Keeper. This non-profit has been protecting our waterways since 2005. By isolating sources of pollution, and helping enforce laws related to our environment, the Riverkeeper, Ted Evgeniadis, continually fights to keep our water safe for drinking, swimming, and fishing for the whole community.

The Black Comb – Jon Leitzel opened The Black Comb to bring back the precision and expertise of an old school barber shop. He boasts 8 chairs….that are always booked – and reside of the hippest barber shops in town – where you can soak in the unique décor, while you sip on one of your favorite craft beers.

They have donated an original barber shop chair, pole, and pieces of the shop – and maybe even be offering a haircut here and there during the ballgame!
