MLB Experience: Made his big league debut, September 5, 2007 against Florida, following his seventh minor league season…Struck out the side (Ross, Olivo, De Aza) in his first full inning…Appeared in 14 games in a span of 26 days…Picked up a win against the Mets, September 17, 2007…Was traded to the Yankees for RHP Tyler Clippard following the season…Opened 2008 in New York…Struck out four in his Yankees debut…Pitched scoreless baseball in five of seven outings…Was twice optioned to Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and recalled…Was injured May 9 and did not pitch again in 2008 until a rehab assignment…Also opened the 2009 season in New York…Recorded wins against five different AL opponents…Outside of his last two appearances in April, had a 3.51 ERA…In 2010, was called up briefly in July then again in September…Made his last big league appearance, July 20, 2012…
