Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

The Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital and the Lancaster Barnstormers have partnered together to STRIKE OUT THE STIGMA!

During the War of the Roses games, the Barnstormers will be clad in specially designed “Strike out the Stigma” jerseys.  These jerseys will also be worn at selected other home games in May, which has been designated as Mental Health Awareness Month.

During May, organizations in the area will utilize Clipper Magazine Stadium to educate the public on mental health topics and the resources available to them to seek help.

For this Barnstormer, ‘Strike out the Stigma’ is more than a slogan for mental health month … check out his story on Lancaster Online!

A Frame of Mind is inviting the community to help paint a mural the weekend of May 17-19 at the ballpark that will be on display for the Mental Health Awareness Month closing day on May 31 at Clipper Magazine Stadium.
