Volunteer and Earn Money for the United Way of Lancaster County.

Each Shift is approximately 3 hours and the Barnstormers will donate $20 to a United Way program of your choice for each shift you sign up to usher.

- Emergency Response Fund: Supporting the needs of our community during current and future emergencies; United Way has funded a variety of local initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic including Lancaster Cares and Project SOS (Share Our Stimulus) and continues to invest in a variety of collaborative programs to meet the greatest needs.
- Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA): Providing free income tax preparation services for low-and moderate-income individuals and families in Lancaster County; our volunteers prepared almost 10,000 returns in 2020, saving people more than $2 million in tax preparation fees.
- 211: Responding to calls, texts, and online inquiries to direct people to nearby providers of food, shelter, medical and behavioral health services, rent and utility assistance, and much more.
