Barnstormers to Celebrate Event with Free Food, Prizes

As their 15th season of Atlantic League baseball nears, the Lancaster Barnstormers are celebrating with “The First Pitch” party on Friday, March 1 at Clipper Magazine Stadium.

On that date, from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM, fans will be able to get their first crack at purchasing single game tickets for any of the 70 home games on the 2019 schedule.

Deals will be available including suite level buy-in $25.00 Opening Weekend game on April 27th, a four-pack of Opening Weekend tickets for just $20, a five-pack of “good anytime” vouchers for $55, a Silver Stormers Plan good for Tuesday game dates for $35, a season lawn pass for only $99 plus our brand new Put Me In Coach Package that includes 10 undated game vouchers, batting practice with the Barnstormers and an honorary first pitch for just $125.

Every fifteenth ticket purchase will receive a “Rock the L” prize pack containing 1 Barnstormers hat, 1 nostalgic memorabilia item, $5.00 in Barnstormers Bucks, Rock the L key chain, and 1 Hess’ BBQ ticket to any Monday Game during the 2019 season. A very nice start to the 15th season. One lucky fan buying a ticket on that date will be chosen at random to throw out an honorary first pitch prior to a game in 2019. Every purchase will also come with a 20% discount at the Inside Corner Team Store which includes all items except for memorabilia.

During the morning hours, FREE donuts and coffee will be served in the Two Dudes Box Office. Once the clock reaches noon, the fare will change to hot dogs and Pepsi brand soft drinks.

Meanwhile, watch Prince Street for Barnstormers’ front office staff, manager Ross Peeples and everyone’s favorite mascot, Cylo and Mummaw, greeting fans. At other times, fans will be able to meet with Ross and Cylo, along with baseball operations manager and first base coach Troy Steffy. Other Barnstormers celebrities may be added to this list at a later date.

Those fans unable to join in on the festivities on Prince Street on March 1st, watch for flash deals offered throughout the day on our Facebook page.
